Bizarre dreams begin for Audrey Phalen March as she returns to her childhood home after a 15-year estrangement from her mother, Tricia, who is dying of cancer.

Tricia shows her daughter a letter written over two decades earlier by Audrey's deceased father, Robert. His written words reveal family secrets and now Audrey needs answers. In her quest for closure, a chain of shocking events put her in danger.

Audrey's subconscious tells a story, but will she be able to decipher and believe what she sees when her eyes are closed?

Excerpt

My dreams, immediately before and after returning to my childhood home, were eerily relevant to my conscious experiences. I struggled to understand the content of these dreams during my wakeful state. Yes, my dreams elaborated upon my present circumstances, in a jumbled sort of way, but, at times, clues to my future involvement in an event were dreamed up and surprised me when my waking activities gave my dreams validity. It took me time to begin connecting the dots, but the outcome became nothing short of astounding, even for a skeptic like me.

Dreams Worth Believing

Audrey March Dream Series

Second Book in Series

Date Publication October 2021

Book Description

Is Tom alive? Audrey March's recent dreams suggest her former fiancé didn't die in a plane crash two years ago but now lives in Oregon, raising chickens. Trusting her subconscious thoughts, Audrey is determined to look for Tom in Dreams Worth Believing. Lydia, her world-traveling daughter, agrees to join her mother on this dubious mission, even though she admits, "Yes, Mother…I think you're crazy!"

As they travel together, Lydia and Audrey encounter people who advise them, stalk them and hide evil intentions.

Their journey finds the two women staying in the middle of an Oregon vineyard at a luxurious B & B, The Sylvaner. Its basement wine cellars, connected by endless dark, damp tunnels, possess secrets and trials the mother-daughter duo could never imagine.

Dreams Worth Believing presents a cast of characters who personally tell their gripping tales of intrigue, sorrow, personal strength, and love.

During this challenging trip, Lydia learns she is more like her mother than she ever thought. And, probably just as crazy!

Excerpt

  •    "My mother met Tom two years ago and was engaged to him. About three years ago, when I was 25, my parents divorced amicably after a 26-year marriage of friendship, when companionship wasn't enough for them. I always thought Mom and Dad were soulmates—Audrey and Alan March, the perfect married couple. But in the end, happily married became a thing of the past. From Mom's description of Tom, it became evident she loved him deeply, in a way she never loved my father. Her mission to find Tom, her kindred spirit, became an obsession, and no one could reason with her."

Favorite Quote

  •   "Running after my dreams, literally. How can a middle-aged woman be so infantile? At my age, I should know better, have better sense, be all grown up. But love is involved, and I've lost all common sense."
